TBH Steam Market — Rules, Fees & Restrictions

The TBH: Task Bar Hero economy runs on the Steam Community Market, but with game-specific restrictions that confuse a lot of new players. Here's everything in one place.

1. The market is locked until Cube Level 10

You can't buy or sell anything until your in-game Cube reaches Level 10. This is deliberate — it stops new accounts and bots from flooding the marketplace.

2. Only Legendary+ gear is tradeable

Every Common, Uncommon and Rare piece of equipment is excluded from the market. Tradeable gear starts at Legendary and goes up through Immortal, Arcana, Beyond, Celestial, Divine and Cosmic. Exception: crafting materials, decorations, engravings and inscriptions are tradeable at any rarity — which is why materials are a steady income source for traders.

3. Fees: ~15% per sale

Every sale pays two cuts: Steam takes 5% and the developer takes 10%, each with a €0.01 minimum. For items under ~€0.20 the minimums dominate, so the effective fee on cheap items is higher than 15%. Price accordingly.

Real example right now: selling Limitless Bow (Beyond) A at €4.37 → Steam fee €0.22 + game fee €0.44 = you receive €3.71.
